286,000 TDPs of FATA return back to their native areas

ISLAMABAD: More than 286,000 temporarily displaced persons (TDPs) of FATA have returned to their native areas. According to FATA Disaster Management Authority, 86,500 displaced persons of Khyber Agency, 78,800 of Bajaur and 37,000 persons of North Waziristan Agency have returned to their homes, state run radio reported. Similarly, more than 60,000 TDPs of Mohmand Agency, 20,200 of Orakzai and 16,100 displaced persons of Kurram Agency returned to their native areas. The federal government has given Rs 35,000 cash assistance and six month ration to the families returning to their homes.
