Female traffic warden kidnapped in Lahore

LAHORE – A female traffic warden, Afra Saeed, was kidnapped on her way back to home in North Cantt police jurisdiction on Tuesday.

Police has registered a case against unidentified persons on the complaint of the warden’s sister, Fouzia. Police said that the warden, who is a widow and mother of two, was on her way back home when some unknown person kidnapped her. Police said that her mobile is also going switched off since her kidnapping.

Police said complainant Fouzia told that her sister had some property disputes with her in-laws since her husband’s death. She suspects Arfa’s brother in-law involvement in the kidnapping.

Investigation Incharge Ghulam Saqlain said that the complainant lodged a case against unknown persons. Later she nominated six persons of Arfa’s in-laws members on which police arrested two persons. Saqlain said that police are investigation over different angels and the female warden would be recovered earliest.
