ISLAMABAD: The Design Vetting Committee (DVC) of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) expressed displeasure over the marketing of two construction projects before their formal approval.
A meeting of the DVC was held here in the CDA headquarters on Friday.
The plans for ground plus three buildings for commercial purposes at Sector I-8 and Sector F-8 was included in the agenda. However, the decision was deferred by the committee as the owners were already marketing their projects in the media.
Planning and Design Member Asad Mehboob Kiani said: “It is totally illegal to market a project prior to its formal approval from CDA. We have put these projects under observation for the next fourteen days.”
