Female traffic warden kidnapped

LAHORE: A female traffic warden was kidnapped while she was on her way home within the north cantonment police limit on Tuesday.

Police has registered a case against unidentified persons on the complaint of kidnapped warden Afra Saeed sister’s Fouzia. Police said that the lady traffic warden, mother of two, was on her way back home when some unknown person kidnapped her. Police said that her mobile phone was also switched off while her husband died naturally a few months ago.

Complainant Fouzia told the police that after her sister’s husband death, her in-laws quarreled with her sister over some property issues. She suspected Arfa’s brother-in-law Ghulam Murtaza to be involved in her sister’s kidnapping.
