Record of Rawalpindi hotels to be computerised

RAWALPINDI: Punjab government has decided to computerize record of all the guest houses, hotels and restaurants in Rawalpindi to detect the criminals who stay in the hotels and restaurants under pseudo names. Sources said complaints are streaming in that the hardened criminals stay in the hotels, restaurants and guest houses by providing wrong particulars. The foreigners who stay in these hotels don’t provide information about their entry and stay in the guest houses to the police stations of respective areas. Therefore decision has been taken to maintain the record of criminals and foreigners through computerization. In the first phase this process of computerization of record was carried out in Lahore and now it has been decided to take such steps in Rawalpindi. Record of over 1000 hotels and restaurants of Rawalpindi will be computerized and made online.

Marriage hall owners booked: The Marriage hall owners have been booked for allegedly violating Punjab Wedding Security ordinance within the New Town police jurisdiction.UC 3 Hazara Abrar Hussain, a resident of New Town, lodged a complaint with the local police that AC City conducted a raid in the Marriage hall and booked the owner for violating the Punjab wedding security Ordinance and not closing the hall on-time. UC-9 Bangash colony Secretary Waqar Ahmed, lodged a complaint with the local police that AC City conducted a raid at a marriage hall and booked the owner.
