Aishwarya never bother for Cannes red carpet

MUMBAI – Cannes Film Festival which makes actress go crazy for what to wear and what not, never bother the former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

When she was asked about her preparation for the Cannes Film Festival the42 years old actress said ‘I think it is a bit too early as I would be meeting you all soon (referring to promotions of Sarbjit). Laying out the wardrobe is too early. I am a girl on the go. But I have never spent sleepless nights planning the Cannes red carpet.’

Aishwarya who has been attending the prestigious Cannes Film Festival since the past 15 years further added ‘The experience has been different year after year. It has been 15 years and I am thankful to L’Oreal for this. It’s a great exchange of ideas with different people you meet. I am glad that I got an opportunity to share my thoughts and work at this prestigious festival. I feel humbled and privileged to speak there and represent Indian cinema and be a member of film fraternity. It has been a precious experience.’

Aishwarya also praised Indian actresses Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, who are currently busy working on their Hollywood projects. She quoted ‘Kudos to everybody (Priyanka, Deepika) for all frontiers that you wish to achieve. We are glad that we had the opportunity to be covered by the media.’
