KARACHI: At least 22 suspected persons including four drug suppliers have been arrested during search operations by intelligence agencies in different areas of Karachi. On a tip-off, intelligence agencies conducted search operations on Wednesday in the hideouts located in Maripur, Lyari Market, Pathan Colony, Orangi Town, Baldiya Town along with other areas of Karachi and rounded-up 16 suspected persons including four drug suppliers. According to sources, the detainees were wanted to police in various heinous crimes. The intelligence agencies claimed to have recovered weapons, ammunition, drugs and other belongings from suspects’ possession. The detainees’ identity could not be ascertained immediately. However, the detainees have been shifted to undisclosed locations for further investigations.
