Nawaz approves billions for Rawalpindi Cantt

RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has approved billion of rupees development package for the areas of Rawalpindi Cantonment.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MNA from NA-54 Malik Abrar Ahmed called on the prime minister to get his nod to launch a host of development projects in his jurisdiction, sources said.

According to the sources, the prime minister approved a 300-bed modern hospital on 10 kanal on IGP Road, the Cantonment Waste Management Authority at a cost of Rs 200 million, Rs400 million development schemes in Chaklala Cantt areas, two filtration plants costing Rs 200 million, four high schools for girls and boys and one postgraduate college and a 1000-kanal graveyard in Dhamial Rakh.
