Here’s why this makes perfect sense : This genius new hairdryer was made by a famous vacuum company

Heat styling is a big part of a lot of people’s getting-ready routines. But let’s face it – it’s not really the most efficient process in the world either! Not only can it take up a good amount of time to blow dry or straighten your hair with a blow dryer or flat iron, the potential heat damage is a huge risk factor.

Today, Dyson, known for their super-fancy, extremely sleek and very efficient vacuum cleaners, introduced their first ever hair dryer.

The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer is designed to deliver fast-yet-focused hair styling and protection from extreme heat temperatures. It’s handheld, has three different air flows, four heat settings and a cold shot. It’ll also include three attachments – a styling concentrator, a smoothing nozzle and a diffuser! So what really makes it different than any other hair dryer? To put it simply, it uses the same technology as a vacuum cleaner on your hair.

It’s precise and speedy air flow sets it apart from other dryers that can make styling time last forever. Thanks to Dyson’s Air Multiplier technology, the high pressure applied into the motor promises controlled drying and styling.

Jen Atkin, AKA the Kardashian/Jenner hair guru, is also the ambassador for the Dyson Supersonic. In a press release, Jen said, “If you know anything about me, you know I’m a lover of innovation and new technology, and the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer is just that. The motor is much smaller, but still very powerful, so I can dry hair quickly and it feels light in my hand. Plus the aesthetic is so gorgeous.”

If it’s good enough for Kardashian hair, we’re obviously on board. The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer will be available exclusively at Sephora starting this fall.
