ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Housing and Works will meet here on May 2 (Monday) to discuss illegal construction and encroachments in G-13, G-14 and further detail of encroachments in all sectors under the Ministry of Housing and Works.
The committee will be briefed on Federal Lodges including Chamba House, Qasr-e-Naz and other lodges at the provincial headquarters along with status of utilization of funds allocated for maintenance and details of all other government properties in custody of Pakistan Works Department (PWD). The meeting will be chaired by Haji Akram Ansari.
PHA to complete construction of 1584 apartments in I-16 till 2018: The Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) will complete construction of 1584 apartments for the federal government employees by 2018, said sources.
