Commemorative postal stamp ceremony held to honour SP Singha

ISLAMABAD – President Mamnoon Hussain has said the government has taken concrete steps to safeguard the rights of the minorities.

He was addressing the launching ceremony of commemorative postal stamp to honour the services of prominent Pakistan Movement activist and Christian minority leader Dewan Bahadur SP Singha in Islamabad. The president said the Constitution of Pakistan provides complete protection to all the minorities.

Mamnoon said that no one will be allowed to play with the rights of the minorities. He said noose has been tightened against the anti-state elements and miscreants. He said the Christian community is playing vital role in the development of the country.
