Female student allegedly gunned down in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD – A female student was allegedly gunned down by her classmates in Rachna Town area of Faisalabad over her refusal for illicit relations.

The police said Shahzaib, a resident of Rachna Town, allegedly teased and harassed his 10th grade classmate, Arfa, a resident of the same locality. The police said that he allegedly forced her for illicit relations and after she refused, he broke into her house and opened fire on her.

Two bullets hit her in the head and she died on the spot while the assailant fled the scene. The body was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
