Pakistan Monument Museum attracts people

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Monument Museum (PMM) is attracting a large number of people here in the Federal Capital. The Monument was established in 2010 on the west of Shakarparian Hills to pay tribute to all heroes of the country who sacrificed everything even their lives to make Pakistan possible.

An official of PMM said that the Museum depicted ancient civilization, the freedom struggle of Pakistan, the birth of Pakistan and the major achievements of Pakistan to-date.

The Pakistan Monument Museum also has the facilities of a reference library, audio-visual archive, conference hall along with a 62-seat capacity auditorium known as Panorama Hall.

He said on weekends a large number of people visit both the places Pakistan Monument and Pakistan Monument Museum.

He said that the people took keen interest in the historical freedom struggle and achievements of Pakistan.

Sajjad Khan, a visitor said that the Museum was very attractive particularly for students due to its historical visual archive. He said that the museum contained the valuables of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal which attracted the people.
