Tennis: Almagro wins Estoril title after marathon final

ESTORIL: Spain’s Nicolas Almagro took nearly three hours to defeat compatriot Pablo Carreno Busta 6-7 (6/8), 7-6 (7/5), 6-3 on Sunday to win the Estoril Open. The victory marked the first title for the 30-year-old since 2012. Almagro took command of the final with a break midway through the deciding set to escape on a third match point with the 13th trophy of his career.
