PARIS – France will host talks with the Saudi, Qatari, Turkish and UAE foreign ministers on Monday to discuss the situation in Syria, government spokesman Stephane Le Foll said on Wednesday.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said he was concerned over “the halt in the negotiating process” following a surge of violence in the northern city of Aleppo which has threatened a two-month ceasefire in the war-torn country, Le Foll said following a cabinet meeting.
