PESHAWAR – Key suspects involved in the assassination of Sardar Soran Singh, special assistant to chief minister on minorities’ affairs, have admitted their crime, police said on Thursday.

Shangla naib nazim Alam Khan and Baroz Khan hailing from Pacha Killay in Buner have confessed their crime. Soran Singh was killed by unknown armed men in his native town Pir Baba in Buner district on Friday.

Police had arrested six people in connection with the murder and registered cases against them. DIG Malakand told journalists that anti-terrorism clauses have been included in the cases as the murder invoked fear among the people of the area and minority community.
