ISLAMABAD – Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Khurshid Shah has formally forwarded terms of references (TORs) – jointly compiled by the opposition parties for probe over Panama leaks – to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

According to the private TV channel, Khurshid moved a one-page letter, attaching along the ToRs, to the prime minister. He has demanded the prime minister to agree with opposition’s ToRs. He held a meeting with Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed earlier today and discussed forwarding the ToRs.

The opposition leader said that the opposition was willing to have a dialogue with the government upon the ToRs made in regards to the commission, formed to probe Panama leaks.

– Govt to take allies in confidence –

Rejecting the demands of the opposition over the enquiry of Panama leaks Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed to tale allies in confidence over ToRs presented by the opposition. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held longish consultations with political colleagues and legal experts here and termed government’s ToRs concrete.

Earlier, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that the ToRs framed by the opposition parties for the judicial commission on the Panama leaks were reflective of their negative intentions and it seemed that their focus was on the prime minister alone.
