FRANKFURT – Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Senator Ishaq Dar and his Indian counterpart Arun Jaitly had a brief informal interaction on Wednesday on the sidelines of the annual general meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The two finance ministers met when Dar was on the way to attend a bilateral meeting. During the short meeting, both were seen exchanging pleasantries. Though it was just shaking of hands and exchange of a few words, the leaders tried to send out a message that things will improve between the two neighbours.

Earlier, both the ministers made their interventions at the meeting of the board of governors of ADB.
