ISLAMABAD – Dr Musadik Malik, a spokesperson for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said on Thursday the government had prepared comprehensive terms of reference (ToRs) on Panama Papers, which included all the demands of the opposition.
The government had formed a judicial commission and wrote a letter to Chief Justice Anwa Zaheer Jamali asking him to carry out investigation of all those mentioned in the Panama Papers.
Other people, Malik said, who were mentioned in the Panama Papers, were escaping from accountability but the prime minister had announced a judicial commission to investigate the matter.
He said the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists had removed the name of Prime Minister Nawaz from its website and stated that there was an editorial mistake.
