BAHAWALPUR –As many as 400 youth of Bahawalpur have been awarded internship letters by the district government under the Prime Minister Youth Internship Programme.
According to the District Coordination Officer (DCO) Dr Ehtesham Anwar, 300 females and 100 males were given internship letters at various government organisations, on merit basis.
He said that a monthly stipend of Rs 12,000 each would be given to the internees. The programme is aimed at providing opportunity to the jobless youth and to better their financial conditions.
