ISLAMABAD – On the request of the hospital administration, Rangers have been deployed at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Islamabad.
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) Vice Chancellor Javed Ikram had made request to the Punjab Rangers DG to deploy paramilitary force to provide security to the hospital. According to sources at the hospital, six Rangers personnel will be permanently deployed at PIMS until security situation improves.
