RAWALPINDI: Four people have been detained for violating the Ehtram-e-Ramazan Ordinance in the area of Pir Wadhai.
Under this ordinance, eating, drinking and smoke in public places has been banned during fasting timings in Ramazan. Hotels or restaurants were also not allowed to serve meals during fasting hours.
According to the police, during patrolling in different areas of Rawalpindi, a shopkeeper was found serving lunch to four people.
