Over 222,000 to participate in Wafaq-ul-Madaris exams

ISLAMABAD: A total of 22,146 seminary students would participate in Wafaq-ul-Madaris Al Arabia (Darj-ai-Kutub) examinations, scheduled to commence from May 7. According to reliable sources in Wafaq-ul-Madaris, a total of 1,775 examination centres would be established at various places while 10,670 teachers would perform the duties of invigilators. A total of 1,775 superintendents has also been deployed to conduct the examinations. Besides 8,895 assistant superintendents would also oversee the examinations. Separate examination centres have been established for boys and girl students. Female teachers would supervise exams in female centres while male teachers would conduct exams in male centres. The examinations would be concluded on May 12, 2016 (4 Shaban-ul-Moazzam). New education year will begin from Shawal-Ul-Mukarram 10. It merits mentioning here that the examinations of the department of Tehfiz-ul-Quran had already been conducted from April 23 to 28. Over 64,844, Huffaz had participated in the exams.
