ISLAMABAD: The district administration of Islamabad showed hurry , when they seize thousand litre of poisonous milk , but before the laboratory test , they not only filed the case but put the accused behind bars. It was learnt that the milk costing millions of rupees was contaminated deliberately by some officials of district administration.
Islamabad’s district administration two days ago raided the rural area of capital, Tarnol at a barn, that was is in possession of a milk dealer of the area. At the shed his servants were milking the buffalos and cows.
The administration confiscated some 18000 litres of milk, which was declared toxic. However, the samples of the milk were forwarded to laboratory that would put up its report after one day.
But the administration in haste not only registered the case against the owner of barn, but also sent him and his 18 servants to lockup on the charges of selling hazardous milk in the market, without waiting for the report.
The impounded milk was kept in the vehicles in the premises of police station intentionally for the two days so that it may spoil. On Friday Magistrate Abdul Hadi told this reporter that the laboratory report has been received so the milk which was kept in police station would be wasted, whereas the case was registered against the milk traders before one day of appearing the laboratory report.
