Multan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that opposition parties will review and respond if the government consults them over terms of reference (ToRs) for the proposed Panama Papers commission.
Talking to media here on Saturday, he said that PTI’s core committee has decided to further consult lawyers on the ToRs prepared by the opposition parties. He said that Aitzaz Ahsan and Hamid Khan have played a vital role in formation of the ToRs.
PTI leader asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to present himself for accountability over Panama Papers disclosures. He said that oppositions parties were not in favour of any confrontation with the government over the issue.
While talking about a recent corruption scandal in Balochistan, he said that guardians of resources of the province were busy in looting and plunder. He said that it was shameful that a huge currency was recovered from the residence of the secretary finance Balochistan. Mehmood called for joint efforts for elimination of corruption.
