LAHORE: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday directed authorities concerned to devise an effective plan for making Carin’s and Mughalpura Railway Hospitals service-oriented health facilities.
Presiding over a meeting held at Railway headquarters, he said that upgradation or improvement of Carin’s and Mughalpura hospitals was crucial for ensuring proper medical facilities to the serving and retired railway employees. Besides this, he said, betterment and efficient working of the hospitals would also help in providing good medical facilities to people of the area, where the two hospitals are situated.
He directed the authorities concerned to sit together and come up with recommendations so that work for uplift of the hospitals could be started at the earliest.
