Two dead, five injured in Quetta blast

QUETTA – At least two persons have reportedly been killed and five others injured in a bomb blast near the gate of the University of Balochistan in the provincial capital here on Tuesday.

The police said that unidentified men planted explosive device near the university gate and detonated it. “As a result, two persons were killed on the spot and five others were injured,” they said. The rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.

The law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the entire area to trace out the suspects. Further probe was underway.
