KHYBER AGENCY: Several suspected militants were killed and a number others were injured in air strikes in Rajgal, the remote area of Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency. Official sources said that jet fighters had targetted suspected hideouts of militants in Pak Darra, Kharaiba, Khachkol and Tora Teega areas and inflicted heavy losses. Scores of the militants’ sanctuaries were also demolished in the bombardment, sources said. However, due to a lack of communication, the causalities could not be confirmed. After fleeing from Bara Tehsil, the militants had taken refuge in Tirah Valley. Since last year, forces have launched a full-fledged operation in the valley to wipe out militants.
