ISLAMABAD: District Courts Islamabad on Friday handed over retired Colonel to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on four-day physical remand in illegal bullet proofing case. Senior Civil Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar heard the case against Colonel (Retd) Syed Irshad Ali.
Assistant Director FIA Ijaz Ahmed Sheikh informed the court that the accused is former colonel of Pakistan Army and involved in illegal bullet proofing of vehicles through his Advis Pakistan Limited. The accused was arrested on May 12 and on his information his aides would also be arrested. He asked the court for 10-day physical remand on which the court awarded him four-day remand, asking to bring the accused on May 17.
