ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan National Council ofArts (PNCA) would organise a week-long youth drama festival from May 16 at the PNCA auditorium.
During the week-long festival, a number of educationalinstitutions including universities and colleges would presenttheir stage plays. Various theater groups will also perform duringthe festival with their plays based on social issues, said anofficial of the PNCA.
Around eight plays will be staged at the festival while bestplays will be awarded in various categories.
Besides giving quality entertainment, the event also promoteshealthy activities among the youngsters and revives the concept oftheater in the twin cities with theme of promoting peace, love andharmony.
The drama festival is part of PNCA’s activities to introducethe trend of theater in the twin cities and promote the concept ofthoughtful theater.
