ISLAMABAD: The first-evernational level Rubik’s Cube competition was organised by the Hungarian Embassy in Islamabad at the TMUC here in Islamabad.
More than 60 participants took part in the contest, also attended by Hungarian Ambassador István Szabó, his wife Emilia Szabo and three-time Rubik’s Cube Hungarian championHunor Bozsing. The event started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by national anthems of both the countries.
In the competition, the students solved the Rubik’s Cube as per the given guidelines and techniques shared by the Hungarian world champion. The winners were awarded medals and certificates by the Hungarian Embassy.
During the question and answer session, when asked that being a student, how Bozsing manages his studies and his love for solving the puzzles, the world champion said, “Time management is the key to my success. It is up to us how we want to spend our time during the day.” He also said that he was delighted to see such talented students who took part in the competition and encouraged them to keep practicing to master their skills.
