KMC ejects encroachers in metropolis

KARACHI: Anti-Encroachment Department of Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) on Wednesday removed encroachments from the areas and surroundings of Saddar, MA Jinnah Road, Korangi Crossing, Qayoomabad, Paposh Nagar and Gol Market.

The encroachments included push carts, make shift stalls, cabins, iron stands, counters, fans and other items that were removed from Preedy Street, Regal, Bohri Bazar, Light House, Boulten Market, said a statement on Wednesday.

The KMC Anti-Encroachment Wing Director Mazhar Khan supervised the anti-encroachment activities. The Anti-Encroachment Wing Deputy Director Iftikhar Siddiqi and the local police also participated in the removal of encroachments activities.
