As per reports, a three-member bench of Sindh Services Tribunal headed by Justice Mujeebullah Siddiqui comprises of Amir Faisal and Farooq Azam Memon as members in their verdict of May 9, 2016 on already filed appeal no 88/2015 by the applicant Muhammad Ashraf Khaskhali said that the Supreme Court has granted stay order against the appointments of civil servants in various departments on March 17, 2016, therefore, SST is restoring the operation on stay order while upholding it. The SST in his verdict said that applicant should file contempt of court under section 39 of PCP in appropriate way. Malik Naeem, the council of petitioner, told the Sindh Services Tribunal that provincial government of Sindh is violating such stay orders on appointments made under same pattern, which falls under the ambit of contempt of court. It is worthwhile to mention here that Sindh Chief Secretary Siddiq Memon on May 3, 2016 through letter no SOI (SGA&CD) 3/29/2016 had appointed 13 officials of DMG and SG on executive posts in Sindh Education Department in six districts.
