ISLAMABAD: Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) has committed robbery on the pockets of more than 4,000 hapless government employees by depriving them from their hard earned money through Bhara Kahu Housing Scheme.

Billions of rupees were demanded from 26,000 employees till May 30, on account of first instalment against plots of diverse categories.

Director General (DG) Housing Foundation Muhammad Waqas was voraciously eager to purchase more land in Thalla Syedan Chakri Road allegedly through his front men.

Director Estate Hafiz Ilyas when came on the way to this malpractice, he was sent back to KP. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan saved 22,000 employees of the federal capital from plunder when he received information in time.

DG Muhammad Waqas who was appointed on this key slot in housing foundation on behest of HamzaShahbaz, son of chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had already played this game with government employees in sector F-14 and F-15.

Housing Foundation had received 80,000 applications in connection with BKHS and indication is being given to sell more 12,000 kanals of land. How tyrannical it is that case of embezzlement in the matter of 3,000 kanal land pertaining to BKHS is still under investigation in NAB and it has yet to be decided but high ups of Housing Foundation has laid foundation of a new scam by forging evil nexus with district administration.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has not only slapped ban on acquiring land for the housing projects launched to favour elite class but also has assigned inquiry into all such matters to interior secretary.

NAB Authorities have already tightened noose around the neck of former minister and corrupt officers of ministry of housing by initiating probe into massive fraud of Rs 1.56 billion in Bhara Kahu Housing Scheme (BKHS).

Housing foundation is againrampant with corruption and is acting as an agent to cheat people.

On May 17, 2016 the FGEHF had announced an auction of various commercial plots. These alleged plots are reportedly not owned by the FEGHF. Infact there is dispute with ministry of defense and also with CDA. However, despite public notices having been published the FGEHF tried to auction these plots to public.

The representatives of the CDA registered their protest and a public legal notice has also been served upon FGEHF.

The government is silent about the indiscretions of the powerful DG Waqas Ali who happens to be son in law of the chief election commissioner.
