ISLAMABAD: Special cells have been established in the Supreme Court of Pakistan and all high courts to address the grievances of overseas Pakistanis.

The cells were established in pursuance of a decision taken by the National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee (NJPMC) held on May 13, 2017.

The NJPMC had discussed an agenda item titled: ‘Grievance of Overseas Pakistanis’.

Supreme Court Spokesperson Shahid Komboyo said that now overseas Pakistanis could approach the cells through email or through post.

“Overseas Pakistanis are requested to mention their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) number or identity as overseas Pakistani duly verified from the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis in their complaints,” he said. He said that details of these cells were also available on the website of the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan.
