ATHENS: Veteran Portuguese defender and Euro 2016 champion Bruno Alves has joined Greek Super League side ApollonSmyrnis on a one-year contract, the 39-year-old’s new employers announced on Saturday.Alves’ long list of clubs includes Porto, Scottish giants Rangers, and a spell already in Greece with AEK Athens, and most recently Serie A’s Parma.”First of all, I would like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to play one more year.
