More dengue cases emerge from Karachi

KARACHI: At least 11 more dengue fever cases were reported in Karachi city, taking the patients toll to 303 since 1st January 2017.

According to the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, 12 new dengue fever cases surfaced in Sindh province from May 29 to June 04, 2017, out of which 11 were reported in Karachi and one in Hyderabad.

A total of 316 dengue fever cases were reported in Sindh province so far, out of which 303 were in Karachi, six in Hyderabad, five in Tharparkar or Mithi and two in Umerkot.

In Karachi, out of the 11 dengue fever cases, four were reported from District Malir, one from District South, five from District West and one from unknown place.
