Balochistan govt decides to register seminaries

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to register all seminaries under the National Action Plan (NAP). Sources said that a four-member committee has been formed for the process of registration of seminaries and amendment in Societies Registration Act for legislation. The secretaries of education, home and tribal affairs, industries and social welfare departments are included in the list of committee members. According to sources, around 3,000 madrassahs have already been registered with the provincial education department.
