SIALKOT: Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Mansoor Ahmed has said that there was a great need of establishing mini industrial estates and training institutions in this export-oriented city.
He said these mini industrial estates should be established in outskirts of city for providing employment opportunities to industrial workers at their doorstep. The purposed mini estates would not only help in expanding the radius of industrial sector but also support in reducing the burden of the city as well as help in accelerating the pace of productivity he said.
He stated that vending industry is an integral part of export industry and this sector should be accommodate in propose mini estates for ensuring all facilities under one roof.
The SCCI president stated that business community of the city was confronting serious problems due to the shortage skilled workforce. In order to protect the industrial sector, government should establish training institution for producing skilled workforce.
