KARACHI: Actor Fahad Mustafa’s film ‘Actor In Law’ has completed its shooting spell with which the actor-turned-anchor is extremely happy.

Soon after finishing the last scene of the shoot, Fahad Mustafa turned to Twitter, in a bid to express that how happy he was with the film and his performance.

Featuring veteran Indian actor Om Puri, as his debut film in Pakistan, actress and model Mehwish Hayat and actor and host Alyy Khan, the film is said to be a light romantic comedy with a focus on social issues.

The idea of the film was conceived by director and screenwriter Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza, also the makers of the super-hit Pakistani flick ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ that helped revolutionise Pakistan’s fragile film industry.

“‘Actor In Law’ is a different story just like ‘Na Maloom Afraad’. In my earlier film, I picked a topic and played with humour around it. In this film, you will find me narrating another unique story. Main Lateefey nahi suna sakta to kahani sunata hon (I just cannot hear jokes, so I tell stories). I am sure the audience will connect to the story with its engaging plot,” Nabeel Qureshi said. ‘Actor In Law’ is set to be released on Eidul Azha later this year.
