Notices served in Rs 5 bn defamation suit against Imran

ISLAMABAD: District and Sessions Court Islamabad has served notices on the parties concerned in connection with Rs 5 billion defamation suit filed by son of finance minister Ishaq Dar against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan. The court will take up hearing of defamation case against Imran Khan on July, 9.Barrister Munawwar Iqbal Dogal counsel for Ali Mustafa Dar son of finance minister Ishaq Dar appeared in the court for arguments and the court issued notices to the parties concerned. The regular hearing of the case will take place on July 9. Ali Mustafa Dar had filed defamation case of Rs 5 billion against Imran Khan on Thursday for levelling fabricated and concocted allegations against him and his family members and damaging the repute of his family during his address to nation from Banni Gala on April, 10.
