KARACHI: Aseefa Bhutto Zardari on Saturday visited the police facilitation centre here on Saturday and appreciated the efforts of police for establishing PFC in Karachi where public grievances will be resolved through one-window operation.
The PFC will be opened for public shortly after a memorandum of understanding between DHA Karachi and the Citizen Police Liaison Committee Lahore (CPLC).
Special Security Unit (SSU) Commandant Maqsood Ahmed briefed Aseefa in detail about the efforts and the facilities to be made available for the general public.
She said that the efforts to establish PFC on modern lines was a remarkable step, which will help facilitate the common man in resolving their issues relating to police and other departments.
She emphasised the need for early opening of other PFC in the city and hoped that all the strategic and administrative partners would extend their maximum cooperation to resolve the public grievances.
Aseefa opined that the PFC would play a pivotal role to help provide relief to common man and present a better image of police. She also appreciated the contribution of the SSU and his staff, who have played a major role in the establishment of PFC.
