President calls National Assembly session on May 31

ISLAMABAD: After the national assembly session had been postponed thrice, now the spokesperson of President Mamnoon Hussain had said that the session is scheduled on May 31at 5 PM.

The 2016-2017 budget is expected to be presented is this session. The previous session was postponed without any activity on day 1, due to death of the parliamentarian Iqbal Mehdi. The spokesperson also said that the president will hold an address on June 1. The session of senate had also been scheduled on June 2.
