ISLAMABAD: The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police on Monday claimed to have busted a gang of robbers.
On a tip off, the ISU raided a hideout in the federal capital and arrested five members of the gang. The robbers confessed to killing a man in the Bhara Kahu area of Islamabad besides looting banks and citizens. The police also claimed to have recovered weapons and ammunitions from the robbers, who were shifted to the SIU interrogation cell for further proceedings.
