Two Pakistani women held on charges of links with Daesh

JALALABAD: Two Pakistani women were arrested on charges of links with Daesh in Nangarhar province, officials said on Monday. Nangarhar Governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khugiyani told Afghan Islamic Press (AIP) that these women were arrested in Andarabi area in Kot district. “The police recovered documents linking to Daesh from their vehicle. These women wanted to supply five books to Daesh. The books contained material about preparation of improvised explosive devices and other weapons,” he said. Their driver was also arrested, he said, adding that the matter is currently under investigation.
