ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has issued non-bail able arrest warrants for chairmen of the two political parties, the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
ATC held interrogations for the assault case of SSP Asmat Junejo, told sources. The DSP Idrees Rathore himself has handled the making of these arrest warrants. The judge of ATC, Sohail Ikram, issued the warrants on Tuesday. It is pertinent to mention here that Junejo was beaten up by the protesters of sit-ins held by PTI and PAT. He sustained serious injuries after the incident. The protestors used bats and wooden sticks to smack down SSP Asmat Junejo.
