Four robbers shot dead by police in Sargodha

SARGODHA: At least four members of armed robbers’ gang have been shot dead in a police encounter in Sargodha at midnight on Monday.

As told by the police in statement, around eight robbers were robbing the commuters at Madh Ranjha Kot Momin Road when police encountered them. Four of those robbers were killed during the encounter and other four escaped the sight.

The names of gang members shot dead by the police are Allayar, Bilal Ahmed, Babar Ali and Asad Waqas, told police.

Police have prevented access to the areaand initiated search operation for the arrest of the other four who managed to escape.
