PESHAWAR: The historic Shandur Polo Festival has been rescheduled to July 15-17 instead of July 22-24 to avoid the forthcoming monsoon rain. According to Media Manager Zara Alam, the festival was rescheduled on a request made by Chitral Scout and District Administration because of the forthcoming monsoon season. She said last year the festival was cancelled well before its schedule due to torrential rains. She said complete facilities would be provided to the local and foreign tourists during the historic polo festival.
