LAYYAH: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) executed six alleged terrorists in an operation in the city’s Chaubara area.
According to sources, CTD Multan raided the Chaubara area in Layyah and also got involved in a conflict with alleged terrorists. In an exchange of fire, six suspected terrorists were killed by the CTD officials. The officials also recovered two rifles, two pistols and two hand grenades from the arrested people. The militants’ bodies were transferred to a hospital for postmortem. Authorities were waiting for the DNA results to identify the suspected militants. According to CTD officials, the killed persons belonged to a banned outfit.
