GUJRANWALA: Several citizens were deprived of cash, gold ornaments, vehicles and other valuables on Wednesday.

In Wahndo bandits snatched Rs 40,000, gold ornaments and cell phones from Mustansar and his family, in Garjakh, robbers looted Rs 18,000, a gold chain and a cell phone from Saira, in Aroop, dacoits took away Rs 16,000 and two cell phones from Mohiy-ud-Din, at Sohdra, Iqbal was deprived of Rs 13,000 and gold ornaments at gunpoint, in Saddar armed men snatched Rs 40,000, gold ornaments and a cell phone from Iftikhar, in Cantt area bandits looted Rs 28,000 and a cell phone from Liaqat, at Tatley Wali, three armed men barged into the house of Shan and decamped with gold ornaments, cash, and valuables, at Ahmed Nagar robbers looted Rs 20,000 and two cell phones from Hanif, on Takbir Road bandits snatched Rs 25,000, two cell phones and gold ornaments from Ayesha, in Saddar dacoits snatched a motorcycle, Rs 13,000 and a cell phone from Tanvir Khan, in Nowshera Virkan robbers snatched Rs 70,000, gold ornaments and cell phones from Shoaib, in Qila Didar Singh armed men snatched Rs 22,000 and a cell phone from Qasim, in Wazirabad dacoits took away Rs 62,000, gold ornaments and cell phones from Ejaz and his family, on Sheikhupura Road, Rehmat was deprived of Rs 33,000 a gold ring and a cell phone.

Unknown thieves took away cash, gold ornaments and other valuables from the houses and shops of Asif, Shafiq, Ilyas, and Abdul Rauf while motorcycles of Nadeem, Rashid and Ansar were stolen from different places.

Separately, FIA teams as a result of different raids have arrested two human traffickers here from Gujranwala and Gujrat. Notorious land rout agent Shahbaz Ahmed S/O Ehsanullah was held from Nowshera Virkan Gujranwala while accused Syed Adnan S/O Syed Zaydan Ali was arrested from Gujrat. Both the accused were involved in sending people abroad illegally.
